Bankroll Freddie sentenced to 12.5 years in federal prison on drug and gun charges

Bankroll FreddieThe Arkansas rapper behind popular tracks such as “Rich Off Grass” and “Add It Up,” has just been hit with 12.5 years in prison.

The rapper, known offstage as Freddie Demarus Gladney III, learned his fate this week after being found guilty for his role in a large-scale drug and weapons case in April. Specifically, his charges were possession and distribution of marijuana, possession and distribution of a controlled substance, possession of a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking, and use of a communication facility for drug trafficking crimes. Freddie was brought in 2022 as part of a federal sweep in Arkansas that targeted the Every Body Killas (EBK) and Loady Murder Mobb gangs. Freddie was allegedly a member of EBK and its members accounted for over 30 of the arrests. His father, Freddie Gladney Jr., was also taken into custody. The rapper and other gang members were accused of “willingly and knowingly” conspiring together to distribute cocaine, crack cocaine, meth and marijuana, which financed their day-to-day operations.

Freddie co-signed Quality control in 2019. His debut album, “From Trap to Rap”, followed in 2020, featuring performances from Moneybagg Yo, Young Dolph and Lil Baby. One of his most notable singles, “Pop It”, was unveiled in 2021 and featured Megan Thee stallion.
