This weekend in Salida is packed with events for all ages!

  • Tonight: Salida’s First Friday Art Walk, featuring downtown art galleries open late until 19.30 Don’t miss the chance to explore local art in a relaxed evening environment.
  • Saturday Morning: The Mountain Lion 5K and Fun Run hosted by the Longfellow Parents’ Association starts at 10 in the morning at Longfellow School, with registration from 9 in the morning
  • Saturday 11-15: The Heart of the Rockies Wedding Show returns to the Chaffee County Fairgrounds. Admission is $10, making it a great opportunity for couples to meet local vendors and gather inspiration.
  • Indoor Winter Golf League Kickoff: Hosted by Elite athlete training Colorado (next to the Colorado Outpost) this kickoff event will feature food trucks, a beer cart and contests for all ages. Heart of the Rockies Radio’s Dan R will broadcast live from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m for the apartment!
  • Dia de los Muertos Parade and Fiesta: Start at 18.00 on F-gaden in downtown Salida, the annual Día de los Muertos parade is followed by a festive celebration at A church.
