Suns’ Bradley Beal ruled out for Halloween vs. Clippers

Phoenix Suns guard Bradley Beal has been ruled out for Thursday’s Halloween game at the Los Angeles Clippers with a sprained right elbow.

Beal was questionable for Monday’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers with an elbow problem, but he played through it. Beal played 35 minutes and scored 15 points with four assists in the win.

The veteran missed Phoenix’s previous game on Saturday against the Dallas Mavericks. Rookie Ryan Dunn started in his place and will again against the Clippers.

Suns guard Josh Okogie remains out with a strained right hamstring that has delayed his season debut.

Star Kawhi Leonard remains out with no sign of his return from a right knee injury, while backup center Mo Bamba has also yet to play this year due to a left knee injury.

The Suns beat the Clippers to open the regular season at the new Intuit Dome in LA 116-113 in overtime. Beal scored 24 points in the win.

Opening tip on Thursday is scheduled for 7:30pm on 98.7 and the Arizona Sports app.
