Navy Federal Credit Union is experiencing outages

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Navy Federal Credit Union experiencing problems with their mobile and online banking on Friday, according to their website.

“We are aware of periodic issues affecting our mobile and online banking platforms and are actively working to restore these services. We apologize for the inconvenience,” the warning banner read.

Reports of outages shot up around 8.20am with the highest number reported around 9.06 at 873, according to Downdetector.

The mobile app displays a maintenance symbol and indicates that their app is currently unavailable.

The cause is not yet known.
