Denver Nuggets vs Minnesota Timberwolves Prediction, Odds & Picks

The Nuggets have won their last 2 games to even their record. But a team with hopes of returning to the NBA Finals probably shouldn’t need OT to beat the Nets and Raptors — not even on the road. Center Nikola Jokic has already posted some big games, but we’re still waiting on their depth. Wing Christian Braun looks fine as a starter, but guard Russell Westbrook has been terrible. Shocker!

Minnesota made the big offseason trade to bring in Julius Randle. He’s actually been great, and guard Anthony Edwards has scored well to start the season. The other player acquired in the deal, wing Donte DiVincenzo, is struggling to find his shot early. This team needs more offense from him and some other players. There will be a buzz in the building after Minnesota sent the Nuggets out of the playoffs last season.

This is the first time these rivals have met since last year’s playoffs. It probably gives the wolves some extra confidence, but they are also still going through a transition. Although the Nuggets had back-to-back OT games, they haven’t played since Tuesday, so they should be OK in terms of rest. Getting some points to work with, the visitors is the game for me. A slow start also gives us more value with Denver right now.

Nuggets vs Timberwolves: Denver +4 (-110) available at time of publication. Can be played on that track.
