Cardi B appears in public for the first time since hospitalization

Cardi B is on the mend.

Almost two weeks after being admitted to the hospital for a medical emergencythe “I Like It” singer stepped back into the spotlight with an outing to a Halloween party in New York City on October 31.

Dressed up as Jessica Rabbit from the 1988 film Who Framed Roger RabbitCardi turned heads in a busty red dress, elbow-length purple gloves and sparkling diamond earrings by LabLove. To bring home the steamy look, the Grammy winner wore a bold red lip, purple eyeshadow and voluminous ginger hair.

Her appearance came after the “WAP” rapper announced that she had to cancel her performance at ONE MusicFest in Atlanta due to a health complication that left her hospitalized.

“I’m so sorry to share this news,” Cardi wrote in a message shared on her Instagram on Oct. 23, “but I’ve been in the hospital recovering from a medical emergency for the past few days and I will not be able to perform at ONE MusicFest.”
