ATP Paris best bets including Humbert vs Alcaraz

ATP Masters 1000 Paris Round of 16

Dimitrov – Rinderknech: 31/10/2024 Time TBA
H2H: 2-0

Grigor Dimitrov has won three of his last five matches. Last week in Vienna, Grigor reached the second round, losing to Machac in three close sets. Here in Paris, Dimitrov won his opening match against Etcheverry in three close sets. After spending almost three hours on the court, Dimitrov successfully turned the match around. Dimitrov had an excellent serving performance, saving all three break points. Last year in Paris, Grigor reached the final, where he lost to Novak Djokovic.

Arthur Rinderknech has won three of his last five matches. Last week in Basel, Rinderknech failed to qualify for the main draw tournament. Here in Paris, Machac retired in the middle of the match against Rinderknech in the first round. Rinderknech then upset Michelsen in two tiebreaks in the second round. He hopes to get a solid result this week to get closer to the top 50 in the rankings.

Best bet

According to the bookmakers, Dimitrov is the favorite in this matchup. Grigor is coming back from injury and still struggling with form. Rinderknech is a great server and wants the audience on his side. We believe that he will have a good chance against Dimitrov and that he will keep this match close.

Having said that, Rinderknech covering the handicap of the game is a value bet.

Value bet/ the best odds: Arthur Rinderknech +3.5 bet handicap @1.80 @bet365

Humbert – Alcaraz: 31/10/2024 Time TBA
H2H: 0-2

Ugo Humbert has won three of his last five matches. Last week in Basel, Humbert lost his second round match against Goffin in three close sets after spending almost three hours on court. Here in Paris, Ugo won his opening match against Nakashima in three close sets. He spent over two hours on the track and eventually won with the help of his home crowd. Then, in the second round, Humbert defeated Giron, as we predicted. Despite being a top 20 player, Ugo has a poor record playing at the Masters level. Last year in Paris, Humbert reached the second round, where he was stopped by Zverev in three close sets.

Carlos Alcaraz has won three of his last five matches. Three weeks ago in Shanghai, Alcaraz reached the quarter-finals when he was upset by Machac in straight sets. This was his first indoor tournament of the season. Carlos won his opening match against Jarry in straight sets. Alcaraz never had any success here in Paris. Last year. Carlos upset Safiullin in the opening round in straight sets.

Best bet

According to the bookmakers, Alcaraz is the big favorite in this matchup. Humbert is one of the best indoor players right now. We believe that Humbert, with the help of the crowd, will keep this game close. He has a great serve and a perfect game for this kind of surface. On the other hand, Alcaraz never had any success here in Paris on the indoor courts.

Having said that, Humbert covering the game’s handicap is a value bet.
