Yellowstone Season 5 Part 2 premieres on November 10, 2024. The date was officially announced on social media on June 20, 2024. Production on the final episodes began in May, confirmed by Paramount on May 20, 2024. Filming was largely completed in early August with a closing party on September 7, 2024.

Yellowstone’s original plans included multiple seasons, but with Kevin Costner’s departure, the show’s creators decided to end with season 5.

Cast

Returning cast members include Cole Hauser (Rip Wheeler), Kelly Reilly (Beth Dutton), Luke Grimes (Kayce Dutton), Wes Bentley (Jamie Dutton), Kelsey Asbille (Monica Dutton) and Gil Birmingham (Thomas Rainwater). Kevin Costner will not appear in the final episodes as he announced his departure from the series following a long-term commitment to his film project, Horizon.Rumors suggest that Cole Hauser, Kelly Reilly and Luke Grimes will join the upcoming spin-off The Madison. Jefferson White, who portrays Jimmy, may also appear in Season 5, Part 2, after being seen with the cast during production.

The first episode of Part 2 will air on the Paramount Network and CBS on November 10, 2024. It will also be available on the Peacock streaming service, where CBS airs at 10:00 PM ET/PT, two hours after the Paramount Network debut.
