We have some exciting news, but also a bit of a disappointment for something vanilla Frost enthusiasts who know that when a limited-time flavor arrives, vanilla Frosty temporarily disappears from the menu. The Frosty machines can only handle two flavors at a time, and the OG chocolate Frosty has a permanent place.

When Wendy’s launches new or seasonal Frosty flavors — like last summer Triple Berry Frosty or this spring Orange Dreamsicle Frosty– the vanilla must give way to the newcomer.

Currently, vanilla Frosty is on hiatus while the place is used to cut pineapples under the sea frost, inspired by the SpongeBob theme Krabby Patty meal. But it looks like vanilla Frosty fans will have to wait a little longer to see it return. Wendy’s has a new flavor debuting on November 12th, and it’s worth getting excited about—unless you’re a die-hard fan of the vanilla or pineapple versions, in which case you might see this as bittersweet news.

Wendy’s New Salted Caramel Frosty

Instagrams Snackolator shared a sneak peek of the upcoming Frosty flavor, saying, “I feel like I’ve been waiting my whole life for Wendy’s to drop this Frosty flavor!” While it’s surprising that Wendy’s took so long to introduce it, the restaurant has confirmed that a Salted Caramel Frosty will hit menus on November 12th.

This is how Wendy’s describes the new Frosty: “Rich, salty caramel perfectly balanced with Wendy’s iconic sweet and creamy Frosty treat. A spoonful of warm and cozy comfort in every cool bite, available for a limited time.”

A warm and cozy comfort that gives you brain freeze? We will overlook the irony of that description because salted caramel in a Frosty sounds too good to pass up. (Honestly, is there any sweet treat that salted caramel doesn’t improve?) Snackolator’s followers seem equally excited about the Salted Caramel Frosty.

“Salted caramel will be mine!” one commenter declared, while another said, “This flavor is what dreams are made of.”

We agree. We can’t wait to dive in, suffer a little brain freeze, and then dip ours Wendy’s French Fries into that salted caramel goodness.
