Walmart InHome delivery now in Ohio, plus half off Walmart+ membership

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Walmart just announced InHome delivery has expanded to Ohio for new and existing Walmart Plus customers. New Walmart+ customers get one 30 day free trial. After the trial period ends, the delivery allowance is available at the normal price of a whopping $7 per order. month or $40 per year.

The InHome delivery service will provide great convenience during the busy holiday season. While Walmart+ standard package delivery is outside your home, InHome delivery sends a partner to make the delivery. The employee will drop off at the shopper’s preferred location such as the front porch, near the garage or inside the home, Walmart says.

With permission, the partner will use a one-time password to unlock a customer’s door or garage. A colleague wears a camera on his vest so that the entire delivery is recorded. The video is available on a shopper’s Walmart account up to a week after each delivery, Walmart says.

More InHome Delivery perks include free 24/7 access to veterinary experts from your phone with Pawp and savings with Burger King, where you get 25% off every day and get a free Whopper with any purchase every 3 months, Walmart says.

The expansion of the InHome delivery service includes an additional 13 million eligible U.S. households, including people living in Ohio, Walmart says. The Greater Cleveland area will be able to access InHome delivery that brings fresh groceries, essentials and last minute holiday products straight to your door.

Sign up for Walmart’s half-off deal Walmart+ memberships before December 2. Walmart shoppers can get the deal — $49 Annual Walmart+ Membership (originally $98) online now.

With the membership, you’ll also be able to unlock early access to Black Friday deals, delivery, gas discounts and more.
