The first reviews of Rohit Shetty’s much awaited Singham Again are here and fans are already declaring it a blockbuster. With an ensemble cast led by Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff and Ranveer Singh, the film is packed with star power and adrenaline pumping action. Cherry on top? Salman Khan’s surprise cameo as Chulbul Pandey, which has the audience cheering.

One user on X (formerly Twitter) couldn’t contain their excitement, calling it an “ACTION PACKAGE BLOCKBUSTER.” The user praised Ajay Devgn’s intense performance and noted that his entry sequence and fight scenes set the tone for an exciting experience. Akshay Kumar also seems to have stolen the limelight with his portrayal of a “badass cop” who delivers high-octane action that has viewers on the edge of their seats.

Deepika Padukone’s appearance is said to be a nice surprise, while Ranveer Singh’s cameo, according to the review, is okay. Arjun Kapoor steps in as the main villain and impresses in the action scenes, though his overall performance received mixed reviews.

The action choreography and VFX are other highlights of Singham Again. The sequences are bigger and more intense than ever, offering fans exactly what they expect from a Rohit Shetty film. Shot with a big spectacle in mind, the film is visually stunning, with the special effects looking “far better than expected,” according to early viewers.

Kareena Kapoor Khan has also garnered praise for her role and Tiger Shroff’s contribution is said to be mind-blowing. But the moment everyone is talking about? Salman Khan’s electrifying three-minute cameo as Chulbul Pandey that had the audience screaming and whistling in the theatres.

Singam Again has been building anticipation through its promotional content, referencing iconic Indian epics like the Ramayan and featuring high-energy trailers and songs. The buzz translated well into ticket sales – by 10:00 PM on October 31, the film had already sold 2.04 lakh tickets across major chains like PVR, Inox and Cinepolis, with advance sales indicating an opening day collection of between Rs 33 crore and Rs 38 million kroner.

Despite competing with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, Singham Again is expected to dominate the box office, especially in Maharashtra and Gujarat where the pre-release buzz is exceptionally high. The film’s success could set a new benchmark for Shetty’s famous cop universe, making it a must-watch Diwali release.
