Adams went down after completing a 17-yard pass from Aaron Rodgers. He was pushed off the field at the Texans’ 31-yard line and was immediately tended to by trainers before slowly getting to his feet.

Adams stayed on the sidelines for a few minutes before walking into the blue medical tent.

The Jets acquired Adams earlier this month in a trade with the Las Vegas Raiders, and his six catches for 54 yards before his injury Thursday night are the most he’s done with the team since. He had just seven catches in his first two games as a Jet.

Rodgers played with Adams from 2014 to 2021 with the Packers and has said Adams is his all-time favorite target. In the last four years of the Adams-Rodgers duo in Green Bay, Adams averaged 14.5 touchdowns per game. season.
